Myanmar has confirmed 4,713 new Covid-19 cases and 312 deaths, the ministry of health and sports reported at 8pm news hour on August 3.

New cases were confirmed after 14,257 lab samples were tested from August 2 at 8pm to August 3 at 8pm.

According to the ministry, 245 cases were confirmed by the labs under the MOHS, 33 cases by the hospitals in Nay Pyi Taw, regions and states using GeneXpert machines, 128 cases by No.1 1,000-Bed Military Hospital in Yangon, 199 cases by No.2 1,000-Bed Military Hospital in Nay Pyi Taw, 44 samples tested at No.9 100-Bed Military Hospital in Lashio, 116 cases by private hospitals and labs, 1,128 cases by hospitals in Nay Pyi Taw, all regions and states using Covid-19 Rapid Antigen Diagnostic Test  and 2,864 cases by regions and states using COVID-19 Rapid Antigen Diagnostic Test in public health departments.

Till August 3 at 8pm, Myanmar had reported 311,067 Covid-19 cases and 10,373 deaths.
