2 killed and 7 injured in Meikhtila-Taunggyi highway car accident

A crash involving a Hijet and a 6 wheeled Nissan in Meikhtila-Taunggyi highway killed two people and injured 7 according to Myanmar Fire Services Department.

At 6:00 am on September 28, a Hijet crashed a white 6-wheeled truck which was stopped at the roadside from behind between milepost 89/7 and 90/0 in Meikhtila-Taunggyi highway, Heho, Shan State due to over speeding.

According to the information of car accident, Fire Service members went there and made rescue works as the driver of the Hijet was stuck at the driver seat. Due to the accident, a driver and a woman were killed. Three men and four women were injured and they were sent to Heho hospital for further medical treatment.
