120.12 Kg of Heroin (Local value of 3.003 billion Kyats) from the two vehicles at 7:30 pm. on 25 August 2025 were seized according to the Drug Enforcement Division.
According to the tip off, at 7:30 p.m. on 25 August 2025, a combined team of Drug Enforcement Division, searched a TOYOTA LITEACE vehicle driven by Nyan Lin and followed by Hla Khaing, a I ZONE vehicle driven by San Win Lin and a motor bike driven by Htet Aung Zaw on No. (3) District connected road, in Myit Thar Township, Kyaukse District, Mandalay Region, and seized 120.12 Kg of Heroin (Local value of 3.003 billion Kyats) from the two vehicles.
According to the interrogation, at 11:30 p.m. on the same day, conspirator Bone Myint Myat were arrested in Pyin Oo Lwin Township. During the investigation, at 10:30 a.m. on 26 August 2025, the officer seized a NISSAN AD VAN vehicle used in Heroin transportation by Soe Wai Lwin (at large) and Tin Myo Aung (at large) at No. (3) district connected road. And then at 11:30 a.m. on the same day, the officer seized a HENO PROFIA 12-whells vehicle, in ward (H), Pyigyitagon Twonship, which owned by Soe Wai Lwin and used to transport Heroin from Muse to Ywarngan Township. According to the investigation, the Heroin were transported from Muse Township, Shan State (North) to Ywarngan Township, and then to Madalay Region. CCDAC expressed that the arrested have been charged with law and follow-up investigations are carried out to the trace the drug linkages of the case.
