Petrol prices have risen further, while the price of premium diesel has declined slightly, according to an announcement by the Fuel import, Storage and Distribution Supervisory Committee.
According to Yangon’s reference fuel prices announced on October 9, Octane 92 was priced at K4,595 per litre, Octane 95 petrol at K4,770 per litre, diesel at K5,000 per litre and premium diesel at K5,575 per litre.
The prices announced the previous week were K4,540 per litre for Octane 92, K4,730 for Octane 95, K4,815 for diesel and K5,795 for premium diesel.
As a result, the prices of Octane 92, Octane 95 and diesel increased by K55, K40 and K185 per litre, respectively, while the price of premium diesel fell by K220 per litre.
Fuel prices are subject to changes on Friday, the final day of the week.
