The Central showroom on Kabar Aye Pagoda Road, which has been involved in disputes with buyers, was reportedly sealed and inspected by the Bureau of Special Investigation (BSI).

The Bureau of Special Investigation reportedly summoned relevant individuals for questioning on the morning of October 3 and sealed The Central showroom on Kabar Aye Pagoda Road in the afternoon.

Relevant organizations are being contacted for further information regarding the incident, and updates will be reported as more details emerge.

Attempts were also made to contact some officials from The Central by phone, but they have not yet answered the calls.

On October 3, 105 buyers of units at The Central, The Park and Soho Tower, who said they had suffered losses, went to submit a letter. However, they were unable to submit it as no one was available at the office to receive the letter because the office was reportedly undergoing an inspection, according to a unit owner who posted about the matter on social media.

When The Central showroom on Kabar Aye Pagoda Road was visited on the evening of October 3, the entrance to the office was found tied with an orange cord and sealed with a red marking.

Some social media pages also posted video footage showing the showroom office in a sealed condition.

Some buyers had already paid up to 90 percent of the purchase price, but the units had still not been handed over even more than two years after the scheduled handover year. As a result, the apartment owners have been asking when they will be able to receive their apartments.

Regarding the issues, Marga Landmark, the developer implementing The Central project, has stated that it will complete construction of all units and hand them over to all owners.
