Myanmar’s parliamentary bodies have announced that the second regular session of the Union Parliament will begin on June 4, while the second regular sessions of the Lower House and the Upper House will commence on June 2 in Nay Pyi Taw.
According to separate announcements released on May 12, the third-term second regular session of the Union Parliament will open at 10 a.m. on June 4 in accordance with provisions under the Constitution, the Union Parliament Law, and parliamentary procedures.
Similarly, the Lower House announced that its third-term second regular session will begin at 10 a.m. on June 2 in Nay Pyi Taw, in line with constitutional provisions and parliamentary laws and rules.
The Upper House also announced that its third-term second regular session will convene at 10 a.m. on June 2 in Nay Pyi Taw under the relevant constitutional and parliamentary regulations.
