University Entrance Exams for 2025–2026 Academic Year Begin on March 11

The University Entrance Examinations for the 2025–2026 academic year, including entrance exams for industrial, agricultural, and livestock universities, began today (March 11), according to reports.

The examination schedule is as follows: Myanmar language on March 11, English on March 12, Mathematics on March 13, Chemistry/Geography on March 14, Physics/History on March 16, and Biology/Economics on March 17.

During the period of the 2026 University Entrance Examinations and the industrial, agricultural, and livestock university entrance exams, measures have been arranged in respective regions and states to ensure smooth transportation for teachers, students, exam officials, and parents. These measures include allowing vehicles with “Exam Duty” or “Car Pass” cards displayed on the front windshield to travel, permitting vehicles assigned for exam duties and student transportation to operate without restrictions related to even or odd license plate numbers, and allowing external candidates to drive motorcycles and vehicles upon presenting their “Exam Admission Cards.” These arrangements have been coordinated by relevant district and township education officers in cooperation with general administration officials.

In addition, for students who are hospitalized and undergoing medical treatment during the 2026 University Entrance Examination period, special hospital-based examination centers will be opened at Yangon General Hospital, North Okkalapa General Hospital, the Central Women’s Hospital (Yangon), Waibargi Specialist Hospital, Mandalay General Hospital, and the 1,000-bed Nay Pyi Taw General Hospital.

Furthermore, in other regions, states, districts, and townships, if students who are hospitalized wish to sit for the examination, special hospital examination centers will also be arranged at major hospitals upon coordination between the relevant education officers and school principals.
