The leader of Burma National Revolutionary Army (BNRA) Bo Nagar, and his family members have entered the legal fold today (February 18), according to reports.

BNRA leader Naing Lin, also known as Nagar, along with his family members, reportedly contacted and reported to a security outpost of the Tatmadaw carrying six assorted weapons and related equipment at around 4:50 p.m. today. The outpost is conducting regional security operations in Pale Township, Sagaing Region, specifically within Pale Township. They then entered the legal fold, sources said.

Officials from the local security command welcomed BNRA leader Naing Lin@ Nagar and his family upon their arrival and provided necessary assistance, including medical support and administrative arrangements to ensure convenience. Relevant authorities will continue verification procedures in accordance with established protocols, it was reported.

The National Defense and Security Council’s information team stated that groups including PDFs have been conducting attacks against the government and the Tatmadaw, as well as committing acts of armed intimidation against local civilians. Over time, internal conflicts driven by personal interests—such as territorial disputes, disagreements over shares, mutual oppression, and killings—have reportedly emerged among these groups.

As a result, BNRA leader Naing Lin @ Nagar is said to have grown dissatisfied with ongoing violent activities and to have come to trust and accept the peace processes of the state and the Tatmadaw, leading him to enter the legal fold, according to a statement released by the National Defense and Security Council.
