The Ministry of Labour recommends that those who are going abroad for visit, pilgrimage, or undergo medical treatment should change to PV passport type.

"For those who are holders of OWIC without a work visa or work permit and are going abroad for visit, pilgrimage, or undergo medical treatment, we recommend that they change their passport type to PV," Safe Migration, under the Ministry of Labour, wrote.

In addition, those who have submitted applications for permission to leave should submit their applications to the ministry and clearly state the documents they have applied for.

"We have also submitted applications made on January 16. We will announce the date of approval. Those who submit applications for departure should submit them at least before three days of the office opening. Our office staff will submit all applications received before 4:30 pm every day to the ministry no later than the next day. We have separated those whose departure date is far away. We will submit the application a week before, so please do not worry. Please submit the documents clearly. Especially if the QR code for Singapore work permit is not visible, it has to be checked through the website, which causes delays in registration. Those who apply for PR must submit a Re-entry permit. The flight E ticket also needs to be clearly indicated, as the departure date and flight number must be indicated," Safe Migration wrote.
