A robbery occurred at a gold shop in Pyin Oo Lwin on the morning of November 12, leaving one employee dead, according to reports.

Two men armed with guns arrived on a motorcycle and robbed the Aung Sabei Gold Shop, located near the town’s clock tower.

During the robbery, a security guard tried to stop them but was shot. The guard died at the scene, and another person was injured.

One of the armed robbers was later arrested, while the other escaped with some gold items. Authorities are continuing efforts to capture the remaining suspect.
