Many people lined up to buy the iPhone 17 on the day it was launched in Thailand, including some Myanmar nationals, according to reports.

Thai news reports said that many people lined up to buy the iPhone 17 at the Central World mall in Bangkok, Thailand, on the morning of September 19.

“There were also Myanmar nationals. There were many people waiting since last night. Last year, the first person to buy it was a Myanmar woman. This year, I don’t know who got it first. I know that there were Myanmar nationals in the queue,” said a worker in Bangkok, Thailand.

According to the BBC, the first person to buy the iPhone 17 at the Apple store in Central World was a Myanmar national.

This year, the iPhone 17 will be sold in a queue, with those who have a wristband number and a time to come and pick it up, according to the news.

The iPhone 17 will be available in four models, namely the iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Air, iPhone 17 Pro, and iPhone 17 Pro Max.

The iPhone 17 starts at $799, while the iPhone 17 Air starts at $1,099.

The iPhone 17 Pro starts at $1,199, and the iPhone 17 Pro Max starts at $1,299.

The iPhone 17 prices also vary depending on the amount of storage the phone has.
