The Union Election Commission (UEC) announced on August 21 that the Form 15 for overseas voters to vote by advance ballot will be available at the relevant embassies starting from August 21.

The UEC has issued a statement that the General Election Phase (1) will be held on December 28, 2025.

According to the Section 82(a) of Pyithu Hluttaw Election Law, the date on which the Form 15 for overseas voters to vote by advance ballot will be available at the relevant embassies is August 21, 2025. The Form 15 can also be downloaded from the UEC website, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs website and the relevant embassy websites, the statement said.

The UEC statement stated that the date for submitting completed Form 15 to the relevant embassies for voters abroad to vote by advance ballot is from August 21 to September 8, 2025.
