According to the appointment schedules posted by the Myanmar Passport Issuance Office, those applying for or renewing passports online no longer need to wait months for an appointment, as bookings can now be made within just a few days.

As of August 12, the office’s website shows that the Yangon, Nay Pyi Taw, Mawlamyine, Sittwe, Pathein, Bago, and Monywa passport offices have available appointments for August 13.

Meanwhile, the Magway, Mandalay, Taunggyi, Dawei, and Kengtung passport offices are offering appointments from August 14 to August 29, covering a two-week period.

Additionally, the Myitkyina, Hpa-an, Hakha, and Lashio passport offices have appointment slots scheduled in September and October.
