In Magway Region, Myothit Township, in the village of Magyikongyi, two individuals from the PDF reportedly shot and killed a married couple in their 60s, accusing them of being informants.

In the said Myothit Township, Magyikongyi village, on the evening of March 16, U Mya Thein (64 years old) and his wife Daw Myint Myint Sein (67 years old) were at their home when two PDF members arrived on a motorcycle. They accused the couple of being informants and shot them with a gun.

As a result of the shooting, U Mya Thein (aka) U Ba Htoo and Daw Myint Myint Sein sustained gunshot wounds and died.
