A woman living in Yankin Township was arrested for providing financial support to PDF groups, sources said.

It is reported that Daw Yin Yin Myint, who lives in Room No.23, 15th floor, Sky Suites Condominium in Yankin Township, who provides financial support to PDF groups, was arrested on October 24.

From April 2023 to September 2024, Daw Yin Yin Myint provided financial supports to Myingyan PDF, BPLA in Hpa-an and To Comrades. In support of that, Daw Yin Yin Myint transferred 100,000 kyats to Myat Lay Yon's KBZ Pay account for the Myingyan PDF, 500,000 kyats for the BPLA on July 5, 200,000 kyats to the To Comrades on July 24 and 500,000 kyats for the homecoming campaign on August 2 from her KBZ Pay account.

The police lodged a complaint against Daw Yin Yin Myint under Article 50 (j) of the Counter-Terrorism Law at Yankin Township Police Station on October 24.
