A man was shot outside a phone shop on U Tun Lin Street, Ward No. 1, Kamaryut Township around 9:40 pm on the evening of August 19.
The victim, 31-year-old U Aung Thet Htwe, was in front of his "Po Chit" phone sales and repair shop when two men approached and shot him before fleeing the scene. U Aung Thet Htwe was rushed to Yangon General Hospital for treatment of his gunshot wounds.
