The night temperature may decrease slightly in Kachin, northern part of Shan and Chin states in two days, according to the forecast by the Department of Meteorology and Hydrology (DMH) on November 3.
Weather is a few cloud over the North Andaman Sea, North Bay and East-central Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy to cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal. On November 4, weather will be partly cloudy in Sagaing Region and Kachin, northern Shan, Chin, Rakhine, Kayin, Mon states. Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in southern and eastern Shan State and isolated in the remaining regions and states. Degree of certainty is 80%.
Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about 3-5 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
There may be slight decrease of night temperatures in Kachin, northern Shan and Chin states.
During the past 24 hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Sagaing, Taninthayi regions and Kachin, northern Shan, Chin, Rakhine, Kayin, Mon states. Rain or thundershowers have been widespread in southern and eastern Shan State, fairy widespread in Mandalay Region, scattered in Nay Pyi Taw, Magway Region and isolated in in the remaining regions and states with isolated heavy falls in Mandalay, Magway regions.
Night temperatures were 3°C below November average temperature in Chin State, 2°C above November average temperatures in lower Sagaing Region and eastern Shan State and about November average temperatures in the remaining regions and states.
The significant night temperatures were 5°C in Hakha, 10°C in Tiddim, 12°C each in Loilin and Mongyang. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were 2.64 inches in Aunglan, 1.81 inches in Pyawbwe, 1.41 inches in Heho, 1.10 inches in Mahlaing and 1.02 inches in Chauk.
