Mountain torrent entered wards at the foot of the hill in Lashio due to heavy rain and a man died as wall of a house collapsed on him on September 14.

Myanmar Fire Services Department got the information of mountain torrent entered wards No.5, 6,7,12 in Lashio, Shan State around 2:40 am on September 14 as a result of heavy rain.

Therefore, Fire services members from Lashio, auxiliary fire services members and members of social organizations went there and did evacuation and rescue works there. There, they found a dead man under collapsed wall at the ward-3. Lashio youth volunteer organization sent the dead body to Lashio hospital with their ambulance.
