Myanmar's entrepreneurs and investors are invited to come and invest in Nusantara, the new capital of Indonesia, according to the Directorate of Investment and Company Administration (DICA).

The Indonesian government plans to officially move from their current capital Jakarta to a new capital, Nusantara in East Kalimantan, in 2024.

Entrepreneurs or investors from Myanmar are invited to come and invest in Nusantara.

As of the end of June 2023, Indonesia invested US$288.057 million in Myanmar, accounting for 0.31 percent of the total foreign investment.

Indonesia's annual investments in Myanmar were as per following: US$241.497 million from 1988-1989 FY to 2011-2012 FY, US$13.190 million in 2015-2016 FY, US$9.034 million in 2016-2017 FY, US$9.859 million in 2017-2018 FY, US$0.950 million during the mini-budget period from April to September 2018, US$8.527 million in 2019-2020 FY, and US$5.1 million during the mini-budget period from October to March of the 2021-2022 FY, according to the DICA.
