Ministerial house in Dawei faces drone attacks, no one hurt

The ministerial residence in Dawei, Taninthayi Region, was hit by a drone attack, but there was no harm or damage as the bomb did not fall in the compound, according to a statement released by the information team of the State Administration Council on July 24.

The response came after news emerged that an armed group fired a rocket launcher on the ministerial house on the night of July 22.

“A bomb dropped using a drone. But it didn’t fall in the house compound. So, no one was injured or no building was damaged, said the SAC information team.

According to some local news and media, an unidentified armed group fired a homemade rocket launcher on the ministerial house on July 22. In the attack, a bomb fell into the living room of the house of the minister for natural resources, while another bomb fell near the car parking in front of the house of the minister for security and border affairs.
