The Information Team of the Office of the President announced on October 10 that the requirement for government offices to conduct official duties from home every Wednesday has been revoked.
The requirement was initially introduced on March 25, 2026, as a measure to conserve and reduce fuel consumption in order to prevent potential fuel shortages caused by the conflict in the Middle East. Under the directive, government officials and staff were required to perform their duties from their homes or dormitories every Wednesday without reporting to their respective offices.
The Information Team of the Office of the President announced that the directive requiring government personnel to work from home every Wednesday has been revoked, effective today.
