YANGON-----Prominent dramatic troupe's leading actor Phoe Chit, Lyricist Shan Tun (Burmese) and his elder sitster already had been arrested, according to the dramatic troop societies.

Leading actor in Myo Shwe Mann Thar dramatic troupe Phoe Chit was detained at his house on November 30th.

The dramatic troupe societies also said that lyricist Shan Tun (Burmese) and his elder sister as well as the pupil of Phoe Chit were included in the arrest.

“The authorities brought Phoe Chit on November 30th aiming to investigate him. So, no news about the Phoe Chit’s arrest spread. Now, we hear that Phoe Chit was arrested. Moreover, the news spread that Phoe Chit and his pupil were arrested. And then, lyricist Shan Tun and his elder sister were detained on the way to Bagan,” said unidentified Manager of the dramatic troupe.

Leading actor of the dramatic troupe Phoe Chit had served as the Chairman of Myanmar Thabin Association. However, he dismissed from his position of the Myanmar Thabin Association during the periods of political changes.
