Myanmar delegation led by Vice-Chairman of State Administration Council (SAC), Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services, Commander-in-Chief (Army), and Vice-Senior-General Soe Win met Russia Deputy Defence Minister Colonel General Alexander Vasilyevich Fomin at the Ministry of Defence of Russia on August 26.
They discussed matters to be carried out with mutual respect, trust and support between the two armed forces.
Later, he visited Myanmar Theravada Buddha Vihara (Moscow) in Moscow where they paid homage to Residing Sayadaw Dr Bhaddanta Issariya on the morning of 26 August. The Vice-Senior General and party took Five Precepts and donated offertories to Sayadaws.
He also visited Myanmar embassy and met with family members of the embassy staff and delivered a speech.
Vice-Senior-General Soe Win arrived Russia on August 25 to attend the closing ceremony of International Army Games-2022.
