A total of 11,537 Covid-19 lab samples were tested, 280 cases detected, and six deaths reported in Myanmar on December 12, according to information released by the Ministry of Health on the late evening of December 12.   

Up till 8pm of December 12 since the outbreak, a total of 5,794,026 lab samples were tested resulting in 526,661 confirmed cases and 19,183 deaths.

On December 12, 441 patients were also discharged from hospitals bring the total number of patients discharged to 503,107.

Covid-19 samples were tested in labs of the Ministry of Health,  in hospitals in Nay Pyi Taw Council area,  Regions and States,  in Military Hospital 1in Yangon, in Military Hospital 2 in Nay Pyi Taw,  in Military Hospital 1 in PyinOoLwin,  in Military Hospital 9 in Lashio, by Kalay Military Mobile PRC Team, and in private hospitals and labs.
