Shooting and explosion occurred in Dagon Seikkan and North Dagon townships today (on September 9).

The shooting took place at a police outpost on a railroad near Thit Seik bus stop in Dagon Seikkan Township, according to residents.

"The shooting occurred at a police outpost. Police and military vehicles are parked near the police outpost and near the bus stop," said a person lived nearby.

In addition, an explosion occurred at municipal office near Shweli Road, Dagon Seikkan Township around 11:30 am today and several security personnel were spotted nearby till 2 pm.

Similarly, two explosions occurred on two military vehicles on Tapin Shwe Htee Road in 36th Ward, North Dagon Township, according to residents.
