Myanmar found 3,602 new COVID-19 confirmed cases on July 6 bringing the total number of patients to 171,976, according to an announcement from the Ministry of Health and Sports (MOHS).

A total of 12,832 samples were tested between 8 pm of July 5 and 8 pm of July 6 and found 3,602 patients. 52 more people died from the virus bringing the total number of death tolls to 3,513, according to a report from the MOHS.

A total of 2,796,217 samples were tested as of July 6 and 914 people were allowed to be discharged from the hospital bringing the total number to 140,387, it said.
