A hundred-household from the East Dagon Township was killed by gunfire on June 27.
Locals nearby the scene of the crime at a betle nut street vendor at the corner of Kyan Sitthar and Yarzathagyan streets say the incident occurred around 10.30am.
"He was sitting at the betle nut vendor. A motorbike came by and shot him down. I think a silencer was used because we didn't hear much of the gunfire," said an eye witness.
He was on his way to the hospital but died on the way.
"He died on the way to the hospital. There have been checks carried out," said someone living nearby.

Likewise, locals from Pathein Nyunt Ward, Mingalar Taungnyunt Township say that a man was stabbed to death in the morning.
"It happened in the morning. There is a railway track between Pathein Nyunt and Myoepat street. There is an pedestrian overpass bridge. He got stabbed there. He used to live in Kyarkwathit and used to be from the auxillary firefighting force. I don't know about now," said someone living in Kyarkwathit Ward.
