Myanmar citizens detained in Mansi prison in China for various reasons were transferred to Myanmar and among them, one tested COVID-19 positive.
A 28 years old man stayed in Mansi for 7 months and was detained in Mansi prison for 37 days. On September 11, Chinese government handed over 102 males and 115 females to Myanmar. Muse Township Department of Public Health took swab tests from those returned from China.
He was placed at the Muse new hospital and those contacted with him including people handed over from China are investigating to put him under quarantine.
