NAYPYITAW-As the Ministry of Health and Sports doesn’t agree, State Counsellor Daw Aung San Suu Kyi has canceled her trip to Kawhmu Township, Yangon Region.

The information came from the Video Conferencing between the State Consellor, the Deputy Head of Public Health Department from Yangon Region and We Love Yangon EC Member about Quarantine centers for Prevention, Control and Treatment of COVID-19 held in Nay Pyi Taw today.

Although State Counsellor Daw Aung San Suu Kyi had planned to go her constituency Kawhmu Township, Yangon Region, on September 8th aiming to hold her party’s flag hoisting ceremony and to carry out the state-level task, she canceled her trip due to the disagreement of the Ministry of Health and Sports.

 “I’m leaving to Yangon this evening aiming to go my constituency Kawhmu Township. Moreover, I will carry out state-level task in Seikgyi Khanaungto Township. But, the Ministry of Health and Sports didn’t agree with my tour program. That’s why, I canceled my trip,” said State Counsellor Daw Aung San Suu Kyi.

She also said that the Ministry of Health and Sports has now authority over the Myanmar. So, the entire people are needed to follow the rules and regulations of the health ministry.
