MYAWADDY-A woman coming illegally from Thailand on a tractor trailer at the No.2 Friendship Cargo Gate on 1st Sept was found with COVID'19 virus, according to the Ministry of Health and Sports.

The 34 years old from Leinmawgone village, with the intent of avoiding any medical checkup at the No 2 BCF Zone gate, sneaked in on a tractor trailer coming from Meisot and rode on a Probox from Mawlamyaing to Kawkareik. The woman did not undergo any medical checkup but was at home. Upon knowing this her swab was tested and was found to be Positive ad per information given on 6 September.

Myawady District Administrative Officer said that all the necessary action will be taken in connection with the woman who came in illegally.
