Myanmar citizens in abroad should nurture the spirit of relying on Myanmar embassies whatever their problems are and in doing so, all the responsibilities are on the Foreign Affairs Office says State counselor Aung San Suu Kyi.

She said these words when holding a video conference with Myanmar ambassadors to Korea, China and Thailand on bringing back Myanmar citizens from abroad on June 2.

She said that most encouraging sign she saw was Myanmar citizens have the spirit of relying on Myanmar citizens. She added that she wish the same that wherever they are and whatever their problems are, Myanmar citizens should rely on Myanmar embassies. Foreign Ministry have that kind of responsibility said Aung San Suu Kyi who is also Minister of Foreign Affairs.

To value and honour each citizen is the nation’s prestige and if the own nation couldn’t value their citizens, respective countries won’t value them.

At present, there were 574 Myanmar citizens coming back from South Korea and other countries and more than 400 people are listed for coming back. Therefore it is planned to fly relief flight per week.
