Arakan Army (AA) attacked army bases in Minbutaung, Nonbu and Paletwa as well as the Rarmaung bridge guard post, Yotayoke police outpost and an army column providing security for Yaw Bridge on December 9, 10 and 11 respectively, announced the Office of the Commander-in-Chief of the Defence Services.
About 200 AA forces attacked Nonbu army base in Paletwa Township on December 9 and the AA reinforced again to attack the army base on December 10. The army found six bodies, two M-22 rifles and its ammunitions from the AA.
The AA also attacked Minbutaung army base on December 11 and they also attacked an army column providing security near Yaw creek on December 11. Moreover they attacked Paletwa army base, Paletwa bridge project site, Rarmaung bridge guard post and Yotayoke police outpost in the same day, announced the Office of the Commander-in-Chief of the Defence Services.
The army found two bodies, one M-22 rifle and its ammunition from the AA, who attacked the army column near Yaw creek. They also found an injured AA member with a M-22 rifle and he died although the army provided medical care, it said.
