Yangon Commander Maj-General Thet Pon, on behalf of Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services, honoured Burmese Python Aung La Nsang with K 10 million for his excellent MMA performance at Royal Rose Hotel, Yangon on October 27.

Aung La Nsang, ONE middleweight and light heavyweight champion, knocked down Lebanon native and unbeaten run challenger Karaki in the first round, managing to defend his ONE Championship middleweight title at Thuwunna Indoor Stadium in Yangon, Myanmar on the night of Friday.

Present on the occasion were Yangon Commander Maj-General Thet Pon and high ranking military officials, Burmese Python Aung La Nsang and his father, the officials of ONE Championship and the journalists.

Aung La Nsang replied to the questions raised by the media professionals.

“I would like to establish gyms in Yangon at first and later in other regions and states. I would like to give advice to the children in Myanmar—if they try with a strong aim, they will succeed someday. I would like to give assistance to the children in the displaced person camps in Kachin State as much as I can.

“I thank all the fans for coming to cheer us. I love you, too. This win is just the the beginning for me. Further better fights will be coming to Myanmar,” said Aung La Nsang.
