A 43-year-old woman was found murdered in Myawady, Kayin State, after being tied up and beaten, according to local sources.
The victim, identified as May San, a native of Ye Township, lived alone on Webagi Road near Michaunggon Pagoda in Ward No. 3. Her body was discovered at her home about four days after her death, with her hands tied behind her back, her legs bound, and cloth covering her face. She had suffered head injuries.
