Vinyls, face masks distribution launched in Myawady

MYAWADY- As part of prevention measures against the COVID-19 outbreak, vinyl planting and face masks distribution programs were launched in Myawady Township, Kayin State, Thai border area, yesterday morning.

Under the leadership of the MP from Myawady Township, the events were held at the crowded places in downtown and outskirt.

“As Myawady Township is a border area with Thailand, we are going to launch the campaign against COVID-19 virus in cooperation with relevant health departments and civic and social organizations. The campaign will be held at the public areas and tollgates,” said MP Thant Zin Aung from Myawady Township.

Later, Dr Kay Khaing Htet and Dr Ko Ko Aung from Myawady District Health Department also gave the educative talks about the healthcare services and they including with MP Thant Zin Aung, Myawady Township Administrator Phyo Zaw Ko, the Township Chairman National League for Democracy, members of Women’s Affairs Organization, Red Cross society and charity groups distributed the face masks to the dwellers.
