Deputy Prime Minister and Union Minister for Foreign Affairs U Than Swe met Thai ambassador to Myanmar H.E Mr. Mongkol at the Ministry in Nay Pyi Taw on January 25.

During the meeting, both sides discussed peace and stability in the border region, including enhancing bilateral relations and mutually beneficial cooperation between Myanmar and Thailand.

Present on the occassion were senior officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Myanmar and First Secretary Ms. Pym Ghaiyasan from the Embassy of the Kingdom of Thailand.
