Two more COVID-19 patients died in Ygn

Myanmar found 98 new COVID-19 patients bringing total number of patients to 1,807 and two more COVID-19 patients were died on September 7 and 9 respectively, announced Ministry of Health and Sports on September 9.

A total of 1,082 samples: 774 samples tested at National Health Laboratory in Yangon, 94 samples tested at Department of Medical Research in Yangon, 184 samples tested at National Health Laboratory in Mandalay, and 30 samples tested at Sittwe general hospital, were tested for the second batch of September 9 and found 98 new patients, it said.

Case-885, a 51-year old man receiving medical treatment at Waibargi Hospital, died in early today morning due to acute respiratory infection and heart failure. Another one, Case-1692, a 57-year old woman receiving medical treatment at San Pya Hospital in Thingangyun Township, died on September 7 due to acute respiratory infection as she had diabetes and hypertension. Total number of deaths is reached to 12 now, it said.

Details of the new COVID-19 patients will be announced later.
