According to the information released by the Myanmar Police Force, two men were gunned down in Kalay township.

At 11:55am on March 5, one man was shot and killed in front of "Aung Thapyei ", a Chin national clothings shop in Taungzalat ward, Kalay township, and security personnel rushed to the place to investigate.

Upon investigation a man, aged 30 was found to have had his hands tied behind and dead due to gun shots. The body was sent to the People's hospital.

Likewise at 5pm in the same day, security personnel rushed to the place about 100 feet distance behind the Htantabin Monastery in Aung Thitsar ward and found a man, who was shot and killed. The decease was Zaw Naing Htun, 36 years old, of the same ward. He had left his house on motorbike to purchase a phone. A person followed him, shot him and took away the phone and k 600,000. Zaw Naing Htun succumbed to gunfire on the spot.

Security personnel were doing the needful to arrest the perpetrators of the crime and take necessary action as per information released by the Myanmar Police Force.
