The manager of Patheingyi Township Electricity Supply Corporation in Mandalay Region was shot to death as he returned home in his car at about 6pm on April 19, according to local sources.
Kyaw Ye Aung, manager of the township ESC was shot by two unidentified gunmen from a motorbike when he arrived in his Pajero near the railway on 19th Street to the east of Mandalay Palace in Aungmyaythazan Township on his way back home to the staff housing.
He was shot four times—two on car the door mirror, one in his forehead and one in his arm. Then, he died on the spot.
