Thousands of pilgrims gather at Mandalay Pagodas on full moon day of Waso

On the full moon day of Waso (Dhammacakka Day), Myanmar era 1387, pagodas and temples across Mandalay were bustling with pilgrims. Devotees gathered at sacred sites such as Mahamuni Pagoda, Shwe Kyi Myin Pagoda, Kuthodaw Pagoda, Kyauk Tawgyi Pagoda, and Aung Dawmu Pagoda to make merit. Acts of devotion included offering golden robes, offering flowers, offering Waso robes, and observing precepts.
