At the invitation of the Eastern Economic Forum-2022, Myanmar high-ranking delegation led by Chairman of State Administration Council (SAC) Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing yesterday morning left from Nay Pyi Taw Military Airport for Russian Federation aiming to attend the 7th Eastern Economic Forum-2022.
They were seen off at the airport by SAC vice-chairman Deputy Prime Minister Vice Senior General Soe Win, the SAC members and secretary, the Union Ministers, senior military officers from the office of Commander-in-Chief (Army), the commander of Nay Pyi Taw Command, Deputy-Head of the Mission of the Embassy of the Russia Federation to Myanmar Pavel A.Klabukov and Military attaché Col Sergei Kurchenko.
The Senior General is accompanied by SAC members U Moung Har and U Saw Daniel, Council Joint-Secretary Lt-Gen Ye Win Oo and Union-level officials, senior military officers from the Office of the Commander-in-Chief (Army), Deputy Ministers from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Information, and military and civil officials.
During the trip, the Senior General and officials will attend the 7th Eastern Economic Forum, meet with officials of the government of the Russian Federation, and visit landmarks in the Russian Federation, universities and factories. Union ministers, deputy ministers and officials will hold working discussions and meetings in respective sectors in order to further cement cooperation in friendly relations, economic and other sectors between governments and peoples of both countries.
The SAC and party arrived at the Vladivostok International Airport in Russia yesterday evening and they were welcomed by Deputy Governor of Vladivostok Stegniy Daria and officials, Myanmar ambassador to Russia Lwin Oo and Military attaché to Russia (Army, Navy and Air) Brig-Gen Moe Kyaw, the Director General and officials of the Protocol Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
