SAC allows Yangon Region and Kayah State Chief Ministers and Chair of the Constitutional Tribunal to retire
The State Administration Council (SAC) issued a decree authorizing Yangon Region and Kayah State Chief Ministers and the Chairman of the Constitutional Tribunal to resign on January 31.
The two region and state chief ministers, who have been allowed to retire, are Yangon Region Chief Minister U Hla Soe and Kayah State Chief Minister U Khin Maung Oo aka Bu Reh.
In addition, the Chairman of the State Constitutional Tribunal, U Than Kyaw, was allowed to retire voluntarily due to ill health, according to the State Administration Council.
