YANGON-----The government will allow Pun Hlaing Hospital and N Health Myanmar Laboratory to diagnose the COVID-19 virus for domestic flight users, says Dr Tun Myint, Deputy Director General of Public Health Department from Yangon Region.

“The Yangon Region Public Health Department already planned to carry out diagnosis about the Coronavirus disease at the Tourist Burma Building near Sule Pagoda Road and a clinic in the compound of Aung Mingalar Highway Bus Terminal. If we are ready to allow diagnosis at the private hospitals, we are going to stop medical checkups at the above two places,” said Dr Tun Myint.

The government will be resuming all domestic flights since the beginning of December 16th. If the passengers will use the domestic flight, they must show a health certificate for clearance of Coronavirus disease within 36 hours.

“ Pun Hlaing Hospital and N Health Myanmar Laboratory in Lanmadaw Township are being allowed to do diagnosis. Now, the Public Health Department diagnoses the Coronavirus disease aiming to promote the tourism sector. Those domestic flight users must be paid Ks 10,000 for RDT Test Kit. We would like to request the domestic flight users to queue up not to occur in the crowd after following social distancing rules. While queuing up for diagnosis, they must be needed to wear the Face Mask Shield,” said Dr Tun Myint.

Likewise, the flight attendants must be accompanied at their flights after showing a health certificate for clearance of COVID-19 virus.
