Two men riding on a motorcycle came to Cho Cho Yadanar gold shop in Aung Yadana Ward, Magway Township, Magway Region at 1:15 pm on November 28 and they threatened with a gun, smashed the glass counter inside the shop with a hammer, and took 20 gold necklaces with pendants and 15 gold clips weighted about 13 ticals of gold. The shop owner U Tun Tun Oo and U Aung Myo Myint Paing, who was on the street outside the shop, were hit by bullets and sustained gunshot wounds. Police opened a case under Section 394 of the Penal Code at Magway Township police station and arrested the perpetrators.
