According to the Ko Pu Tu and Friends Association, an accident occurred on Saya San Road in Yangon Region, where a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle and died on the spot.

The incident happened around 10:30 PM on December 8, when a man, approximately 50 years old, was hit by a hijet vehicle while crossing Saya San Road. The association was notified by bystanders and rushed to provide assistance.

“When we arrived at the scene, the pedestrian had already passed away at the location of the accident. He suffered a fractured his skull and private part injuries,” the Ko Pu Tu and Friends Association stated in their announcement.

The deceased man’s body was transported to Yangon General Hospital free of charge with the assistance of the association.
