There have been 50 medical doctors and nursing trainees who will be volunteering for COVID-19 prevention, control and treatment measures, according to the Ministry of Health and Sports.
Trainee volunteers from the nursing schools in Yangon and Hpa-an are arriving in Myawady to conduct necessary health checks on the Myanmar citizens returning from Thailand.
Fifteen trainees from Hpa-an Nursing School and 32 trainees Yangon Nursing School including the principal set off to Myawady on March 24.
The ministry itself has announced that it has been recorded and described as honorable.
Moreover, medical doctors who offered to volunteer for COVID-19 prevention tasks have been assigned to Tiddim Township People’s Hospital in Chin State as of March 25. Five doctors offered to volunteer.
Two more doctors who offered to volunteer have also been assigned to Waibargi Specialist Hospital in Yangon.
