A total of 770 exam centers were set up for the 2025 university entrance examination, with 207,917 registered candidates. Among them, 196,337 students sat for the Burmese subject exam, according to the Ministry of Education.

The 2024-2025 academic year university entrance exam commenced on March 17, with students across states and regions taking the test at various high schools.

Before the exam, teachers systematically checked students' exam admission cards and conducted necessary inspections in accordance with examination regulations.

On the first day of the university entrance exam, the Burmese subject test was held at 47 exam centers across eight townships in the Nay Pyi Taw Council area. Out of 12,926 registered students (5,730 male and 7,196 female), a total of 12,552 students (5,484 male and 7,068 female) attended the exam.
