More than 17,900 gave advanced vote in Kani district, Sagaing Region till November 3, sources said.

The number of advanced voter list is collected from Kani and Homalin townships in the district, according to the office of the Kani district election commission.

“A total of 3,416 advanced voters in Kani are over 60 years old and 14,491 in Homalin. Advanced voting of government employees, who are on trip, is also included in the list,” said Win Aung, Assistant Director of the office of the Kani district election commission.

The numbers of eligible voters are 31,384 in Kani and 167,703 in Homalin. There are 34 polling stations in Kani and 183 in Homalin.
