More than 100 war veterans from Pakokku, Myaing and Yezagyo townships in Magway Region held a pro-military rally to denounce foreign interferences in Pakokku town on Sunday.
In the whole rally, the protestors chanted slogans such as full support for the military, criticizing Facebook for its interference in Myanmar's political affairs, denouncing the biased report of UN fact-finding commission and the APHR report and the success of the military the people love.
They gathered in front of General Aung San Park in Pakokku chanting "Our Three Main National Causes"—non-disintegration of the Union, non-disintegration of national solidarity and perpetuation of sovereignty.
"We are participating in national defence and security duties as an auxiliary force of the military. This is the rally to support the military and denounce external interferences held by the war veterans from Pakokku, Myaing and Yezagyo townships.
Series of pro-military rallies have come across Myanmar following the international community's move to take action against top military leaders over the Rakhine issue.
