The opening ceremony of Aungbarlay Online Lottery System was held at International Convention Center -2 in Nay Pyi Taw on June 8.
It was attended by Chairman of SAC, Senior-General Min Aung Hlaing, and joint secretary of SAC Lt-Gen Ye Win Oo, members of SAC, Union Ministers and Union Level personnel, Chair of Nay Pyi Taw Council, Chief of General Staff (Army, Navy, Air) General Maung Maung Aye, military officials from office of the Commander-in-Chief of the Defence Services, Chairman of Myanmar Economic Cooperation, Commander of Nay Pyi Taw Command, deputy ministers, invited guests, artistes and officials.
At the opening ceremony, Senior-General Min Aung Hlaing delivered an opening speech. Later, documentary on the history of Aungbarlay lottery and video of its online lottery system was introduced.
Afterwards, Senior-General Min Aung Hlaing, Deputy Prime Minister and Union Minister U Win Shein, Union Minister of Investment and Foreign Economic Relations Dr. Kan Zaw, Chairman of Myanmar Economic Corporation Lt-Gen Nyo Saw and Mytel CEO Nguyen Tien Dung of Viettel Group opened the ceremony.
Then, Union Minister U Win Shein presented the logo of Aungbarlay online lottery to Senior-General Min Aung Hlaing. Dr. Nilar Aye, chief external relations officer of Mytel clarified the Aungbarlay online lottery system.
A five-year documentary video clip of Telecom International Myanmar Co Ltd (Mytel) which is the partner of the online lottery system was presented. On behalf of the Ministry of Defence of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam, Vietnamese Ambassador to Myanmar Dr. Luan Thuy Duong spoke words of thanks.
